She is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA AM), one of America’s top 3 professional appraisal associations. Based in Lake Tahoe, Art Mode is available for in-person and virtual personal property appraisal services nationwide.

Lauralynn completed the Core Course in Appraisal Studies (ISA) in 2018, and has attended the ISA conference every year since then. Conferences offer continuing education on a variety of relevant, real-world topics. What’s more, in 2021 she took the Fine Arts Specialty Course to become accredited (ISA AM). She is USPAP compliant, which is a a crucial aspect of appraisals for the IRS and insurance coverage. In addition, Lauralynn is a Tax Analyst and performs personal and business tax returns during the tax season. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC) with a focus in Chemistry and Art History. She is also a former Fulbright Scholar (Florence, Italy) where she studied Italian Art Conservation Science at the Uffizi Gallery and the Istituto di Fisica Applicata. Her studies brought her to London in 2016 where she completed Sotheby’s Institute of Art’s Course in Art Business. Lauralynn has worked at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles (Antiquities Conservation Department), the LACMA (Conservation Science Lab), and at numerous galleries (BASH, Emanate) and professional frame shops. She has proudly been a small business owner since 2006.
